Lets get this hunny going. It's been a week now; LORD. I'm fighting back post con cold- it was really bad on Friday, today is better but I questionable blotchiness on my neck. I think it was from the NyQuil.


Thursday:
The first time driving down to the states, ever. Well, the first time I drove myself down to the states, and it was rather... easy. I was stressing out about it all before, but the drive wasn't do bad. Maddi was my passenger of choice, who fell asleep during the ride so I got to listen to our skipping CD since I needed the cigarette outlet for my GPS and couldn't plug in my Ipod. The boarder guard asked us some skill testing questions when we passed though, one of them being: What is your favorite comicbook. And Maddi got mad when I didn't answer with "Nightwing."

Then we both regretted not saying Aquaman cause the new 52 Aquaman is awesome.

Arrived, all is well. We lugged out stuff out of my car and bumped into a few people then totted off to the hotel room. Theeennn everyone ditched to get dinner so Maddi and I watched the Hunger Games. People came back to the room and I ended up helping Max finish up his buttons so we all stayed up until like 4am.

Bad choice.

Friday:
Finn and Fionna day! After getting somewhere close to three hours of sleep Maddi and I were up and Adam. We decided breakfast was in order and took Steph on a mighty adventure to find food in the area, since I had my car. We first decided to try a place my GPS suggested called Toys Bakery.... that was a mistake and we quickly changed course and ended up finding a Chapotles and Jugo Juice.

Steph got really excited about Chapotles, but then they were closed so we all got Jugo Juice and then brought Max and Courtney some drinks while they worked away in the Artist Alley.

THEN WE CHANGED INTO FINN AND FIONNA AND I WENT TO SHANNON'S ROOM TO RUB MY BODY ON HER BEAUTIFUL FLAME PRINCESS SELF.

The photo shoot was fun and I ended up soaking one of my shoes, jumping over a river, and then climbing a tree which resulted in getting my shorts REALLY dirty so it looked like I pooped myself. That was fantastic. That resulted in me washing my shorts and after attempting to use a hairdryer to dry them we then trekked them down to the Laundry Room in the hotel and used the dryer. We bumped into Roo and Jess and we rolled around on the floor while my shorts dried.
Changed back into Finn and went to shake my booty for Liz and Jenny.

Changed out of Finn and into my Gungam Style Yoga girl costume for room party times. Went to a singles dance contest, got to see Roo flounder on the stage. Good times. Got some Chapotles. Ended up going to bed early and getting a good six hours to sleep.

Saturday:
Hobbit day! Maddi and I woke up early in order to paint our feet and get all hobbity. We sat on the balcony for awhile and painted out toes and such to bring ultimate dirtiness to them; the fruits of our labor were fantastic.
Went to get coffee for the roomies and Maddi spilled coffee all over her cloak. It was like 10 minutes into the cosplay... GOD DAMN IT MERRY.
After double-side-taping soles of shoes to our feet we carried on with our day and met up with Jess who was our Frodo. Got some photos by the river which was pretty snazzy and then went out to lunch with Clint and Alex to a place called The Lab. We got free food cause we were dressed up; HAZZAH FOR HOBBITS.
Trolled around as hobbits for a while, went to the FF Tourny and did some hit point counting. Then we all went to dinner at Azteca and then washed our feet vigorously when we got back to the hotel room and got changed for Party Rock outfit for the rave. Went to Jeremy and Liz's room and partied it up before going to rave. Got to see Parker knock over a whole table. Twas good.


Sunday:
Robin dressed as a Robin day. Super comfy outfit and we slept in a bit, but it still only meant three hours of sleep.
Ate some day old doughnuts for a photoshoot, which was worth it, and then went and got Hot Pot with people after the con. God I ate so much food and I don't think anyone will trust Maddi to order food again.... I think Courtney is scared of Squids now.
Drove home; Maddi fell asleep again and the border guard didn't question us dressed as Bart Allen and Tim Drake. Everything was fine.
Went home, passed out after being there for about an hour and didn't wake up till 10 the next day.
